Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
• Experience with mobile testing (iOS and Android).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities & Context

• Test Automation Development:

  Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for functional, integration, and regression testing.

  Implement and maintain test automation frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.

• Manual and Exploratory Testing:

  Conduct manual testing of web, mobile, and API features to ensure the highest level of product quality.

  Design and execute detailed test cases, and identify and report bugs and issues found during testing.

• API Testing:

  Develop and execute test scripts for RESTful APIs using tools like Postman and Python Requests.

  Validate API functionality, performance, and security, ensuring integration with backend services.

• Performance & Load Testing:

  Execute performance and load tests using tools like Locust or JMeter to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.

• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  Work closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

  Provide feedback and recommendations based on test results and collaborate in resolving bugs and performance issues.

• CI/CD Integration:

  Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., using Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous testing and faster deployments.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  Document test plans, test cases, and results thoroughly.

  Create detailed bug reports and track defects through to resolution.

• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:

  Help mentor junior QA team members in Python scripting and test automation.

  Contribute to improving overall testing strategies and frameworks.
