Must-Have Skills & Experience

2–4+ years of experience in functional or manual QA roles
Strong English communication skills — must be able to collaborate with global teams effectively
Proven experience testing full applications (not just UI elements)
Familiarity with agile, MVP-style development workflows
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Available for partial overlap with USA business hours (2–4 hours minimum)

Nice to Haves

Interest in supporting simple operational tasks (e.g., process automation, internal tooling)
Experience or curiosity around using AI tools to enhance QA (e.g., ChatGPT, test script generators)
Exposure to early-stage startups or fast-paced development environments
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar

About the Role

We are hiring a Functional QA Engineer on behalf of an early-stage product studio that builds Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for global clients. This isn’t a role where you’ll be pixel-pushing UI tests — you’ll be responsible for testing real functionality across entire applications. If you’re someone who enjoys making sure things actually work (not just look right), this is for you.

You’ll join a small, highly collaborative remote team where you’ll work closely with developers and product managers. Strong communication, curiosity, and initiative are key.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end testing of new product features and user flows
Validate functional requirements across web and/or mobile platforms
Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans
Identify, report, and track bugs and inconsistencies with clarity
Work cross-functionally with dev and product teams to prioritize and resolve issues
Document QA processes and contribute to testing best practices
