- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with a B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry or Chemistry from reputed institutions are also encouraged to apply.
- Diploma holders or candidates with chemical technical degrees are NOT eligible to apply.

Responsibilities & Context
Irises Ink Company is a Bangladesh-China joint venture specialized in manufacturing textile digital print and sublimation print inks. With a strong emphasis on quality, performance, and sustainability, we serve both local and international markets. Our aim is to consistently deliver superior ink solutions backed by innovation and advanced technology.
This position is based at our ink manufacturing facility in Narayanganj. The selected candidate will be directly responsible for ensuring the consistent quality of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished inks used for textile digital and sublimation printing. The role demands hands on work in the quality control lab, collaboration with the production team, and regular documentation/reporting aligned with our quality standards. This is a full-time, factory based role that requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to handle chemicals and testing equipment safely and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily quality checks of raw materials, intermediate products, and final ink batches.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment (e.g., viscometer, pH meter, spectrophotometer, etc.).
- Perform ink property testing (viscosity, color strength, density, drying rate, pH level, etc.) and ensure results meet the defined standards.
- Record and document all QA/QC data in proper logs and software tools.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/GMP/SOP guidelines during every stage of testing and production.
- Identify and report deviations or non-conformities; suggest corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with the production team for root cause analysis and process optimization.
- Maintain calibration schedules for lab equipment and ensure their proper functioning.
- Participate in internal audits, process reviews, and training sessions as required.
- Handle chemical substances safely and maintain proper labeling and storage of samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lab to meet health and safety standards.
- Prepare daily quality reports and submit them to the Production Manager or QA Supervisor.
Work Days: 6 days a week
Workplace: Candidates must be willing to work at the factory location.
