  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and quality management software.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and supplier locations as required.

Responsibilities & Context

Position Summary: The incumbent will oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and assurance processes across the company’s solar products, projects, and services. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks while implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ensure quality procedures and processes are adhered to throughout the supply chain, installation, and service delivery.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve overall product and service quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to address recurring quality issues.
  • Establish and enforce quality control checkpoints at all stages of solar project lifecycle (design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance).
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers/vendors to ensure compliance with company quality requirements and standards.
  • Monitor and address non-conformances from materials, equipment, and components provided by external parties.
  • Stay up-to-date with solar industry regulations, standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, OSHA), and certifications.
  • Ensure projects and products comply with local, national, and international quality and safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop the QA/QC team to achieve performance goals and maintain quality excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee documentation of quality processes, reports, test results, and non-conformities.
  • Provide regular quality performance reports to senior leadership and recommend improvement measures.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with customer service and project teams to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
