Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree or above

Experience

  • At least 10 years

    Buying House

Additional Requirements

  • At least 10 years’ experience in garment or textile industry with a minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience
  • leading and driving projects
  • Knowledgeable in all kind of garment production
  • Good problem-solving mindset and skills
  • Good communication skills & stakeholder management
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage daily inspection work of QC team
  • Advise merchandising and QA teams, as well as suppliers, on changes on customer quality standards.
  • Devise and maintain quality assurance standards and quality control system to minimize rejection and claim rates, as well as achieve a consistent quality standard, whilst adhering to delivery KPIs.
  • Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to product quality, whilst giving professional advice in all areas of quality control and claim related.
  • Evaluate existing and new vendors on various performance tracking aspects and recommend corrective actions and/or training to ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the quality management systems of vendors, recommend improvements when required, and advise on upgrading systems and machinery
  • Supervise the teams’ engagement in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity
  • Responsible for championing the OI anti-corruption guidelines across the business so that all potential risk areas are minimized
  • Collaborate closely with merchandising and QA management to ensure operational excellence
  • Plan team development and be responsible for career & succession planning
  • Provide guidance and monitor the performance of QC team
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Focus on data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action plan
  • Performance guarding and presenting results to stake holders
