Responsibilities & Context
- Conduct quality checks throughout production and control the release of finished goods.
- Oversee calibration, validation and maintenance of job instruments and QC documents.
- Acquire samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per sampling plan and proceed to prepare them for analysis, incorporating proper labelling and documentation.
- Ensuing proper testing, sorting and quality of food. Ensuring food & controlling product quality through proper procedures.
- To assist the head of unit in all his duties as required.
- Ensure product wise costing.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international food safety standards (e.g., HALAL, HACCP, ISO22000:2018).
- Identify areas for improvement within quality control processes.
