Responsibilities & Context
- Inspect Raw materials quality parameters such as size, color, moisture content, fungal presence.
- Identify substandard grains and segregated to maintain consistent product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality reports and findings to provide management teams.
- Educate suppliers and stakeholders about company quality expectations and recommend quality enhancement strategies.
- Analyze grain quality trends and propose improvements to enhance processes and reduce costs.
- Resolve persistent quality issues by recommending alternative suppliers or strategies.
- Supervise spot buying activities and ensure proper handling and storage to uphold quality standards.
- Travel to supplier sites and warehouses to perform quality checks and provide on-site guidance as needed.
