Education
- Masters in Engineering (MEngg)
- Diploma
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Diploma/BSC.
- Diploma Engineers or candidates with technical education from Tripoli will be given preference.

- 2–5 years of experience in R&D/Product Development within an electrical accessories manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical accessories such as Switch, Socket, MCB, Plug Top, and related products.
- Must be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for product design and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS Office), email & internet browsing.
- Experience in product testing, tooling development, material selection, and manufacturing process improvement will be preferred.
- Knowledge of IEC/BS standards and quality requirements is an advantage.
- Good English speaking & writing skills.
- Preference will be given to those who know the Chinese language.
- Required Skills & Expertise
- Good knowledge of electrical switch/socket manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with QC tools, testing methods, and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and improve electrical accessories including switches, sockets, MCBs, plug tops, extension sockets, and related products.
- Design and evaluate new products according to customer requirements, market trends, and applicable standards.
- Prepare product drawings, specifications, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Conduct product testing and validation to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Analyze product failures, customer complaints, and field issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Tooling, and Procurement departments during product development and improvement activities.
- Perform material evaluation and alternative material qualification to optimize product performance and cost.
- Support certification and compliance activities according to relevant standards (IEC, BS, etc.).
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, productivity, and reliability.
- Develop and optimize powder coating processes, including coating thickness, adhesion, curing parameters, and surface finish quality.
- Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods for continuous product improvement.
- Prepare technical reports, test records, and engineering change documentation.
- Participate in prototype development, sample evaluation, and pilot production activities.
- Ensure all product designs comply with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to production and quality teams when required.
