Responsibilities & Context
- To conduct repair and maintenance of trailers refrigeration units and tractor cab air conditioning system in a safe manner and to defined standards.
- Carryout recommended maintenance schedules on refrigeration units and air conditioning systems as detailed at proper intervals
- Diagnose and rectify associated problems.
- Check units and report on suitability to maintain product within the laid down specifications.
- Overhaul associated systems such as compressors, three way valves and expansion valves etc.
- Read and understand technical data and manuals .Downloading of information in reefer units & tractors using manufacture recommended diagnosing equipment.
- Report difficulties, problems or unsafe systems of work to superiors.
- Carry out repairs against the budget economically
