Job Context

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh. MGI is looking for dynamic, self-motivated, qualified and experienced Regional Manager (RM) for its Sales & Marketing Department under the FMCG division segregated between 24-43 regions in Bangladesh and this position will report to the Wing Manager. The suitable incumbent will be responsible for selling Edible Oil/ Tea/ Spices/ Condensed Milk/ Milk-Powder/ Sugar/ Salt/ Atta/ Moida/ Suji/ Biscuits/ Noodles/ Water/ Beverage/Snack items.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, guide and supervise Territory Managers (TM) and ensure their team is on the right track to achieve the sales target.
  • Make sure that the Territory Manager (TM) under his region is doing “work-with” along with the Sales Representative (SR) to boost up market coverage.
  • Source and appoint distributors against the vacant distribution point within his region.
  • Monitor daily activities of all Territory Managers (TM) and Sales Representatives (SR).
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly primary lifting.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly product-wise secondary sales target.
  • Ensure outlet coverage, product availability, and product visibility in every outlet.
  • Ensure daily target memo and average sales per memo of every Sales Representative (SR).
  • Visit outlets for increasing product visibility and distributors’ warehouses as the part of damage management process.
  • Take all measures to create a potential market and new sales opportunities.
  • Monitor product visibility in the outlets through merchandising activities.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and submit to the concerned authority regularly.
  • Monitor distributors’ stock, ensuring timely payment from distributors, and receive claim adjustments.
