Experience

    E-commerce

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 35 years
  • At least 5 years of experience in customer retention, sales, or account management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing key accounts and leading by example.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, ideally with experience in Alibaba.com or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations, including payment processing and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities & Context

1. Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage the Renewals core team, ensuring they meet or exceed KPIs related to customer renewal rates, customer contact, and revenue.·
  • Identify and address gaps in internal training and product knowledge within the team.·
  • Develop and implement strategies for up-selling, cross-selling, upgrading, and renewing customers.·
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, ensuring that every customer interaction adds value.

2. Key Account Management:

  • Personally manage a portfolio of key accounts to demonstrate best practices in customer retention and account management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with these key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
  • Utilize insights from managing key accounts to guide the team and refine strategies for broader customer success.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Oversee the management of existing exporters who are paid subscribers of Alibaba GGS products.
  • Ensure the team provides comprehensive platform training and support to maximize customer satisfaction and product usage.
  • Regularly assess customer needs and feedback, ensuring the team is proactive in addressing any issues or opportunities for improvement.

4. Financial Operations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all finance-related matters with Alibaba HQ.
  • Manage payment processing, commission calculation, and reconciliation with Alibaba HQ.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any finance-related issues between Tradeshi and Alibaba HQ in a timely manner.
  • Forecasting sales revenue and annual budget for own team

5. Collaboration with New Sales Team:

  • Coordinate with the New Sales Team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to renewals, particularly focusing on securing 1st-year renewals.
  • Work closely with the New Sales Team to identify and leverage opportunities for customer referrals.
  • Share insights and feedback with the New Sales Team to continuously improve the sales-to-renewals pipeline

6. Communication & Reporting:

  • Maintain regular communication with Alibaba HQ, ensuring all processes related to finance and customer management are aligned.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, customer satisfaction, key account management, and financial reconciliation to senior management.
  • Stay informed of all upcoming products and features from Alibaba.com and communicate relevant updates to the team and customers.

7. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in customer retention, account management, and product management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the Renewals team and in managing key accounts.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including New Sales and Data, Content, and IT, to ensure a seamless customer experience across the board.
