• Technical writing, research publications & exposure in tech innovation activities/tasks will be given preference
• Knowledge on smartphone, tablets, TVs, cameras and other devices in line with Samsung’s area of interest
• Strong, persistent & focused mindset to search for technological information from every corner of the internet
• Passion for technology innovation. Keep abreast of the latest technology trends, inventions and industry
• Excellent writing skill, quality report writing ability
• Excellent communication skill and presentation skills
• Dynamic and multi-tasking ability

Responsibilities & Context

• Support and guide engineers to develop quality ideas from scratch, and help them prepare relevant documentations for filing patents.
• Analyzing and reporting on complex technical information from patent database/tech-based magazine/journals/news-sites.
• Assessing the novelty, usefulness, and business impact of inventions and provide appropriate feedback to inventors to improve patentability.
• Provide Knowledge Sharing Sessions on different technologies in line with Samsung.
• Prepare periodic “Technology Survey Reports”.
• Provide support for misc. tasks including, but not limited to, managing innovation sessions, events & workshops.
