Requirements

• Master’s degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Environmental Science, Anthropology or Climate Change Studies.

• Qualification : Research report writing, Computer Skill and communication skill,
• Requirement : Experience of applied research methods, evaluation and monitoring in NGOs, especially capturing and articulating the impact, experience of working in deadline-driven work environments, experience of dealing with sensitive information, experience of team work in research and in project management.
• Experience : Minimum 5years of working experience in NGOs.

Major Role & Responsibilities

• Developing research protocols, procedures, and objectives as per project guideline
• Serious Game development for working with climate migrants.
• Living lab development with climate migrants.
• Coordinate and manage overall project activities and coordination with stakeholders.
• Coordinating research activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Planning and implementing data collection and analysis systems, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting research data
• Creating reports and presentations of research findings, and writing and editing reports and manuscripts
• Providing training to project staff and volunteers
• Maintaining proper documentation and record keeping of research activities
• Team work in writing research papers, research reports
• Managing and maintaining research databases and files
• Research capacity building of the staff
• Organize and participate meeting, workshops on behalf of project.
• Idea generation for PRA tools development for community based research and advocacy
• Assessment of Non-Economic Loss and damage of the climate migrants through Participatory research and field studies
• Assess baseline study focusing non-economic loss and damage issues among urban and peri-urban climate induced people
• KOBO Based survey tools design for carry out baseline and routine monitoring for change evaluation
