  • Age 35 to 50 years
  • Retired personnel from Bangladesh Army / Navy / Bangladesh Air Force will get preference
  • Extensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and procedures, with experience in Bangladesh Fire Service Department.
  • Professional certifications in safety management (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.

Responsibilities & Context

Risk Assessment and Management:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all areas of the company, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a risk management framework to monitor and review identified risks.

Safety Policies and Procedures:

  • Create, implement, and update safety policies and procedures in compliance with national and international safety standards.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions to reinforce the importance of safety practices.

Fire Safety Management:

  • Develop and implement fire safety programs, including evacuation plans, fire drills, and equipment maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with local fire authorities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and conduct regular inspections of the facility.

Incident Investigation:

  • Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Training and Development:

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of safety practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes in safety management.

Compliance and Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, and prepare for safety audits.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary and represent the company in safety discussions and inspections.

Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring all employees are trained and prepared for various emergency situations.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services to maintain effective communication channels during emergencies.
