Bachelor/Honors
Minimum Bachelor`s/Graduate degree from any recognized institution.
However, candidates with strong and relevant practical experience in the Steel Industry, particularly in Rod, Steel & Sectional Items, may be considered with a minimum HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Steel

Job Context
Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Madanpur Unit Ltd. is looking for a responsible, experienced and performance-oriented Delivery Supervisor to supervise and coordinate day-to-day godown and delivery operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate material verification, smooth loading and dispatch operations, delivery coordination, and effective supervision of delivery activities both at the godown and field level.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day godown and delivery operations.
Count and verify Rod/Steel materials according to delivery requirements before loading.
Coordinate with the Scale Operator and complete the necessary weighing and delivery-related procedures.
Collect the required D.O. (Delivery Order) and ensure that the correct materials are prepared for dispatch.
Verify the quantity, size and type of materials before and during vehicle loading to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate and supervise the loading of goods onto delivery vehicles according to approved delivery instructions.
Ensure that the correct materials are loaded for the designated customer/party and delivery destination.
Supervise delivery personnel and coordinate their day-to-day activities to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Coordinate with the concerned Scale, Marketing and Delivery teams regarding delivery requirements and operational activities.
Coordinate delivery activities according to designated routes, areas and channels.
Monitor delivery operations and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Supervise and monitor Rod/Steel products at the field level and ensure proper execution of delivery-related activities.
Maintain proper coordination between Godown, Scale, Marketing, Delivery and field operations.
Ensure proper handling of materials during loading, transportation and delivery.
Maintain operational discipline and ensure smooth coordination among relevant team members.
Handle delivery-related issues and operational challenges effectively and take necessary action for uninterrupted delivery operations.
Ensure proper execution of all assigned delivery-related activities in accordance with company requirements.
Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
