Requirements

Education

  • Masters, Bachelor/Honors

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the travel or airline industry.

• In-depth knowledge of international ticketing and airline fare rules (IATA certification is

a plus).

• Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies, including social media

management.

• Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

    Consulting Firms, Travel Agent, Overseas Companies

Responsibilities & Context

1. Customer Acquisition:

o Identify and target new customers, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and

individual travelers.

o Build relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

2. Air Ticket Sales:

o Promote and sell international air tickets, ensuring competitive pricing and quality

service.

o Provide customized travel solutions to meet the needs of clients, including group

bookings, special fares, and multi-destination itineraries.

3. Upselling and Cross-Selling:

o Upsell additional services such as travel insurance, seat upgrades, and baggage options.

o Cross-sell related products like visa assistance, hotel bookings, and holiday packages.

4. Achieving Sales Targets:

o Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.

o Track and analyze sales performance to identify trends and implement strategies to

boost revenue.

Marketing Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Development:

o Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote international ticket sales.

o Create promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and online content to drive

customer engagement.

2. Market Research:

o Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and customer

preferences.

o Use insights to develop effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.

3. Brand Promotion:

o Represent the company at travel expos, networking events, and client meetings to

enhance brand awareness.

o Develop partnerships with airlines, hotels, and travel service providers to offer

competitive packages.

Client Relationship Management:

1. Customer Retention:

o Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term loyalty.

o Address client queries, concerns, and complaints promptly to provide exceptional

service.

2. Corporate Sales:

o Collaborate with corporate clients to manage their travel requirements, including

regular ticket bookings and special arrangements.

o Negotiate contracts and agreements with corporate clients for bulk purchases.

Reporting and Analysis:

1. Sales Reporting:

o Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activities and revenue generation.

o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust sales strategies as needed.

2. Budget Management:

o Assist in planning and managing the sales and marketing budget.

o Ensure cost-effective execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.

Problem Solving and Flexibility:

1. Handling Challenges:

o Resolve issues related to flight delays, cancellations, or ticketing errors efficiently.

o Work with airlines and internal teams to offer the best solutions to customers.

2. Adaptability:

o Be proactive in responding to changes in airline policies, market trends, and customer

demands.
