  • Minimum 02 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing related experience in any reputed hotel, resort / commercial / development organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality management
  • Knowledge on corporate communications and dealing with government officials, marketers, public affairs and other related fields

Job Purpose

The individual will be responsible for promoting BLC services to clients, negotiating contracts to maximize customer base and revenue, identifying prospects, maintaining customer relationships, and increasing sales figures. This position will oversee sales, marketing, branding activities, and handle reservation requests for BLCs.

Location: Head Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities of BLC services by approaching visits, calling, and networking.
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships among all BRAC Programmes to support staff capacity development.
  • Process and input training reservation requests as per the BLC’s reservation policy. This includes verifying availability, confirming that all necessary information is provided, and coordinating with relevant parties to finalize the reservation.
  • Coordinate with major stakeholders of the respective region regularly for business development and make partnerships with different associations
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, through calls & emails
  • Regular market visits and hunt for potential clients.
  • Develop strategies to generate new business and increase revenue
  • Strengthen the operation process of BLCs as per the industry standards.
  • Develop sustainable partnerships with different Commercial organizations, NGOs, TVET institutions, Colleges/Universities across the region for conducting training/workshops and ensuring a continuous flow of events.
  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations.
  • Integrate and adjust sales strategy to market conditions and client needs.
  • Coordinate promotional activities of BLC and take part in different events.
  • Source advertisement and branding opportunities locally.
  • Prepare monthly reports and other required reports as requested by the Supervisor /Programme Head.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
