Sales Executive/ Territory Sales Officer / Territory Sales Manager

 

Position Overview

 

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Territory Sales Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth within a designated territory. This role involves managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

1) Sales and Target Achievement

  • Sales Execution:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue growth.
  • Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify and acquire new customers through market research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.

 

2) Territory Management

  • Market Coverage:
  • Ensure comprehensive market coverage by visiting retailers, wholesalers, and other key accounts regularly.
  • Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Product Distribution:
  • Ensure optimal product distribution and availability across all points of sale within the territory.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

 

3)Customer Relationship Management

  • Engagement and Support:
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service and support.
  • Address customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Feedback Collection:
  • Collect and report customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and sales strategies.

 

4) Reporting and Analysis

  • Sales Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports detailing performance metrics, challenges, and market insights.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyze sales data to track performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to the management team based on data analysis.

5) Promotional Activities

  • Campaign Execution:
  • Implement promotional campaigns and activities to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute territory-specific marketing initiatives.

 

  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Training and Development:
  • Conduct training sessions for retailers and sales team members to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other sales team members, marketing, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
