Responsibilities & Context
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Setting sales goals, forecast revenue, and develop budgets in alignment with overall business objectives
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Providing ongoing coaching, support, and motivation to team members
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Implementing and optimizing sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Addressing customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
- Collaborating with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
- Communicating sales strategies, goals, and progress to senior management and the sales team
- Representing the sales team in cross-functional meetings and provide input on company-wide initiatives
- Conducting market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand competitive dynamics
- Analyzing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and planning
- Utilizing insights from market research to adjust sales strategies and improve performance
- Developing and managing the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Monitoring sales expenses and implement cost-control measures to achieve profitability targets
- Preparing financial forecasts and reports related to sales performance
