Responsibilities & Context
Ducon is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the FMCG, Steel, Cement, or Construction Chemical sectors. The ideal candidate must have a strong academic background, holding a Master’s degree from a reputable public university.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team, developing sales strategies, and conducting one-to-one customer visits to expand market reach and boost revenue.
The candidate must possess a valid driving license and have a motorbike for fieldwork.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to achieve set sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the construction chemicals.
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team, ensuring performance is aligned with the company’s goals.
- Conduct one-to-one visits with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product solutions·
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Recommend and implement new sales initiatives to enhance market penetration.
- Set performance goals for the sales team and monitor progress regularly.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure continuous development of the sales team.
- Conduct field visits to construction sites, distributors, and contractors to promote and sell products.
- Ensure effective geographical coverage to maximize sales potential.
