Must have good computer skill.
Hospital software literacy is preferred.
Responsibilities & Context
Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Receive & process prescription orders from customers or healthcare professionals.
Maintain inventory of medications & supplies.
Monitor stock levels & place orders for replacement.
Check the expiration dates of medications & remove expired stock.
Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries & assisting customers.
Handle cash transactions & operate the cash register.
Maintain patient record & update relevant information
Maintains methods and manner of storage and record keeping systems to provide for safekeeping of medicines.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures and/or infection control standards.
Keeping up-to-date with new medications and industry regulations.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
