Job Summary:

The PDC Planner is responsible for effectively managing the coordination among various departments including merchandising, fabric mill, sample room to ensure on time sample execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Compile all sample requirements and set the sewing plan for the PDC based on sample due date.
Ensure all raw materials are in house on time to meet the sample sewing plan.
Maintain weekly and monthly sampling requirements based on sample capacity and share overall sample planning updates.
Share a “Live Data Report” tracking the status from sample initiation to completion, accessible to all stakeholders.
Conduct daily meetings with all merchandising account leads to discuss pending samples and promptly address any issues that arise.
Collaborate with Merchandising Team Head to establish priorities when there are conflicts between deadlines and sample capacity.
Share the fabrics priority chart with Head of R&D based on sample requirements, ensuring the scheduling of exact fabric delivery dates for accurate planning.
Liaise with design teams to comprehend design details, fabric choices, and specifications, ensuring that products meet market standards.
Organize and participate in fit sessions, providing feedback and ensuring that products meet required standards.
