Requirements
Education
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably in Islamic Studies/Arabic, Business Administration/ Banking and Finance / Marketing / Management /Economics / Bank Management/ any other disciplines from any reputed University approved by the UGC.
Experience
- At least 10 years
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant desk/field preferably in reputed Islami Banking Organization.
- Must have sound knowledge in Islamic Economics/Finance and Banking.
- In-depth knowledge of Islami Sariah principle, Islami jurisprudence & Islami Deposit & Investment modes and products and Profit Distribution Systems in Islami Banking.
- Should have know how on AAOIFI’s & IFSB Shariah Standards on various Islami Investment & Deposit Products.
- Strong communication skill in Bengali and English.
- Problem solving & decision making capacity.
- Should have sound knowledge about computer applications such as MS Office, Excel etc.
- Capable to work under pressure.
- Must be hard working with fervent attitude.
- Amicable personality & Positive attitude.
Responsibilities & Context
- Overall supervision & monitoring of General Banking, Accounts, Investment Operations, Cash Operations, Trade Services & Other General Functions of the Branch.
- Manage Clients’ Accounts, dispute handling, sound customer service, compliance of Laws and Regulations.
- Act as the primary contact person and resolves operational issues of Branch.
- Provide professional services for a wide range of Islami Banking products to address customers’ financial needs.
- Ensure submitting various reports accurately and on timely basis.
- Achieve set targets in terms of procurement of Deposit, Accounts, Debit Card, Credit Card, Investment, Import, Export, Bank Guarantee etc. and Fees & Charges Income.
- Ensure a working environment where customer can get best attention and quality services.
- Ensure compliances of Regulatory requirements and operational guidelines of the Bank in day to day operations.
- Ensure compliance of Shariah Rules, Guidelines, Circulars, Instructions of Bangladesh Bank, other Regulatory Authorities and CHQ in operation of the Islami Banking Windows.
- Check the daily voucher & transactions, Books of Accounts and security stationeries of the Branch.
- Comply & mitigate the observation of Audit, Inspection & Investigation Report of Internal & External Authorities on regular basis.
- Update KYC profile as per prevailing BFIU Circulars.
- Provide remittance services (local & inward), locker services.
- Train up the Officials with knowledge of Islami Banking, Operations & Services.
- Monitor, control and supervise the development of other respective Conventional Branches, Sub-Branches, Agent Banking Outlets under the Agrabad Islami Banking Branch.
- Perform any other job as and when assigned by the Branch & Head Office Management.
