- Strong ability in coordination and monitoring of field-level activities.

- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- A proven ability to achieve concrete results under the constraints
- Experienced with IT-based reporting is an asset
- Oral and written fluency in Bangla and English is required.
- Willingness to be based in the remote districts under the mentioned Division
- Willingness to undertake extensive field trip
- Prepared to work for long hours in case of emergency
- Prior knowledge of database management

Responsibilities & Context
*** Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with the parents, caregivers, and community people to provide required education support and promote their knowledge, skills, and attitude regarding inclusive education.
- Develop relationships with Upazila and district-level government primary education, social service officials, JPUF, and other stakeholders related to the IE project at the local level to promote quality primary education for learners with disabilities.
- As per the project management team, participate in different meetings, seminars, workshops, and inter agencies coordination meeting for maintaining contact with different government and development agencies with the aim of mobilizing resources and disseminating information for the development of inclusive education, rehabilitation, and disability rights issues.
- Maintain regular communication with individual learners with disabilities/family/parents/caregivers, local government/non-government officials/partners staff/ OPDs, SCFs, and other disability-like-minded networks and engage them in the process of IE in their respective communities.
- Mobilize and influence local government authorities to support learners with disabilities with assistive devices and other rehabilitation needs (accessibility, reasonable adjustments) and facilitate their engagement at schools.
- Document field-level progress and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Steer regular and need-based coordination meetings with the project partners and other local-level stakeholders
- Monitor the school and community-based activities implemented by SCFs and supervise them to bring the desired outcome for learners with disabilities.
- Collect and gather data from SCOs and examine and analysis data regularly for providing accurate and error free data to CDD HQ and MERLA team of RTI
- Organize and attend joint monitoring visits conducted by CDD, SCI, and RTI during the project period and track field-level progress.
- Prepare monthly action plan and maintain time sheet regularly.Organize need-based motivation and mentoring sessions for the SCFs.
- Perform any other duties/assignments as assigned by the authority.

CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

- The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
- CDD is planning to recruit one ‘School Community Officer (SCO)’ for the project named ‘USAID-Shobai Miley Shikhi Activities (SMSA)’. This position is one of the key positions of the project management team of the said project at the field location. He/she provide technical support and monitor to the field team. He/she closely works with Program Manager and update project progress regularly. He/she expected to support to the program of all financial matters related to the specific project location. He/she will be responsible for maintaining all project documents. He/she also maintain collaboration with government officials of Primary Education Department at Upazila level. The duration of the project is till November-2026.
