Responsibilities & Context

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL) is looking for an competent candidate for the Position of “Section Head – Electrical & Instrumentation” at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.

Oversee preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance strategies for all electrical power generation and instrumentation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Lead the execution of E&I projects, including new installations, upgrades and modifications. Ensuring timely and cost effective completion.
Monitor and analyze key maintenance KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR, implementing initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, industry regulations and plant safety protocols. Mitigating risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
Utilize techniques such as, vibration analysis and thermography to detect potential faults early and implement proactive maintenance measures.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, optimize maintenance costs, and drive cost-effective solutions for equipment performance improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance with standards.
Ensure immediate response to critical breakdowns to prevent plant shutdowns and mitigate production losses.
Provide strategic direction for the E&I department, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Oversee workforce planning, performance management and skill development programs to enhance team capabilities.
Promote a culture of safety, innovation and operational excellence within the department.
