Responsibilities & Context
The selected candidate will perform and ensure all security-related responsibilities of the institution
Job Responsibilities
- To ensure the safety and security of the premises at all times
- To conduct routine patrols of indoor and outdoor areas to identify and address security concerns
- To monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- To verify identification credentials and maintain visitor records/logs as required
- To prevent unauthorized access and take appropriate action in response to security violations
- To respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, incidents, or suspicious activities
- To assist with crowd control and maintain order during peak hours or special events
- To safeguard institutional property against theft, damage, loss, or misuse
- To maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security observations
