Responsibilities & Context
Oxford International School (OIS) is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in security, possess a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches, and be at least 30 years old. The Security Officer will ensure a safe and secure environment across our school campuses in Dhanmondi, Gulshan, and Uttara.
Trainings required:
- Basic security training
- First aid and CPR certification
- Fire safety training
- Conflict resolution and communication skills
- Physical fitness training
- Use of security technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all school activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work across multiple campuses (Dhanmondi/Gulshan/Uttara).
- Ensure physical fitness and capability to stand for long periods.
- Perform 8-12 hour shifts, including rotational duties.
- Interact courteously with parents, students, and visitors.
- Oversee overall school security and maintain a safe environment.
- Manage traffic and parking during entry and exit times, using both verbal communication and hand signals.
- Assist students and visitors in safely crossing roads.
- Conduct patrols and guard duties to protect school property.
- Properly utilize gate passes and register all incoming and outgoing materials as per school policy.
- Remain vigilant and report any security breaches to the Supervisor or Administrative Officer.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Management, ensuring the safety and security of the school.
