Requirements
Education
- Required Experiences: Minimum 5-7 years of experiences are required in the field of hybrid rice seed production with leading company.
- Education: Diploma in Agriculture or BSc in Biological Science.
Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Hard working with strong sense of responsibility of quality hybrid rice seed production, need to work independently and ensure seed quality through company own management and Contract Grower (CG) system
- Plan and select location of Seed production and form Block by lease land
- Manage and liaison with Contract growers to ensure quality seed production
- Handle and manage laborer or groups of laborer to ensure all activities in timely manner
- Assist block In-charge or manager for implementing project activities to attain highest yield
- Need to conduct synchronization trials of newly developed hybrid and adaptation trial for new variety (ies) from various origins like China, India and any other sources.
- Conduct GOT for produced hybrid rice seed
- Have to conduct day to day visit of seed production block and report to project In charge
- Have to prepare GA3 sample, make spray schedule and handle GA3 spray man
- Entrusted with the responsibility of data record keeping (such as labor register, Inputs register etc.)
- Close Collaboration with the field production, quality control, Seed processing & preservation team, Sales and Marketing team.
Job Location: Based Seed Production Project or Muktagacha, Mymensingh
