• Minimum 12 years of experience in production management, preferably in woven garment manufacturing for international brands.
• Strong understanding of production processes for woven garments, buyer compliance standards, and export market trends.

Responsibilities & Context

• Lead and manage all factory production operations to ensure on-time delivery and maintain the high-quality standards required by top-tier buyers.
• Develop and implement comprehensive production plans, ensuring adherence to buyer timelines and specifications.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Monitor line-wise performance and resolve bottlenecks swiftly to achieve optimal productivity.
• Identify skill gaps and organize training programs to enhance the team’s capabilities.
• Optimize utilization of raw materials, machinery, and labor to control production costs while achieving set targets.
• Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and other teams to align production schedules with delivery timelines.
• Address and resolve buyer concerns proactively while maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Enforce rigorous quality control measures at every production stage to meet AQL standards and brand-specific quality expectations.
• Conduct regular audits in collaboration with the QA team and buyers’ representatives to maintain product integrity.
• Ensure adherence to all compliance requirements, including labor laws, buyer codes of conduct, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing safety protocols and addressing hazards promptly.
• Track and analyze production KPIs (e.g., efficiency, rejection rates, and on-time delivery) and present actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare detailed production reports for internal stakeholders and buyers as required.
