5+ years of experience in web application development, with at least 3 years focused on Shopify app development.
Strong expertise in Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL), Liquid, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Next.js).
Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails or Python.
Proficiency in working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
Strong understanding of Shopify app, theme and Shopify CLI app development.
Familiarity with OAuth authentication, webhooks, and Shopify App Bridge.
Experience in building and deploying scalable cloud-based applications (AWS, Firebase, or similar).
Understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and DevOps workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an agile environment.
Experience with headless Shopify setups using Next.js or Gatsby.
Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and Shopify checkout customizations.
Familiarity with eCommerce analytics and tracking tools.
Prior experience in building and launching Shopify public apps.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior App Developer with extensive experience in the Shopify ecosystem to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining Shopify applications, themes, and integrations that enhance the eCommerce experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product manager, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (public and private) using Shopify APIs, Liquid, and JavaScript.
Build and maintain Shopify themes with custom features and enhancements.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance Shopify store functionality.
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Stay up to date with Shopify app development best practices, tools, and trends.
Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Ensure compliance with Shopify’s app store requirements and guidelines.
