Education

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) in Architecture
  • Active membership with the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) is highly preferred.

Experience

    • 6 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 50 years
  • Only Male

BUET, KHULNA UNIVERSITY, BRACK, NSU, AUST, UAP, Graduates will get preference.

 

Technical & Software Mastery

  • Advanced Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of AutoCAD, 3ds Max or SketchUp, Lumion or V-Ray, and Adobe Photoshop for creating high-end presentations, renderings, and working drawings.
  • Building Science: Exceptional understanding of modern building materials, premium interior/exterior finishing standards, and innovative construction methodologies.

     

    Regulatory & Code Compliance

  • Statutory Code Expertise: In-depth, practical knowledge of RAJUK, BNBC, NHA, PWD, and Municipal building bylaws (FAR, Ground Coverage, Setbacks, Fire Safety rules).
  • Proven track record of preparing architectural layout plans that achieve swift approval from regulatory authorities.

     

    Leadership & Team Management

  • Design Department Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of junior architects, 3D visualizers, and draftsmen to deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Project Ownership: Strong capability to lead a project from the initial sketch/ideation phase through to final hand-over.

     

    Interpersonal & Presentation Skills

  • High-Profile Presentations: Outstanding presentation and communication skills to pitch high-end animations, 3D concepts, and material boards to top management and premium clients.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Excellent collaboration skills to sync smoothly with Structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and Site Construction teams to resolve design discrepancies instantly.

     

    Portfolio & Industry Exposure

  • A strong, verifiable portfolio showcasing successfully completed premium residential apartment complexes, commercial buildings, or large-scale land development projects.
  • Active involvement with contemporary design trends, sustainable/green architecture, and cost-efficient design practices.

Job Context

Kaizen Homes Limited is seeking a visionary, highly creative, and experienced Senior Architect to head our design department. The successful candidate will spearhead the architectural team, conceptualizing landmark residential and land development projects. This role demands a proven track record of leadership from initial concept to final site execution, with strict adherence to local statutory building codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Head the entire design lifecycle, developing innovative design concepts, master plans, and comprehensive architectural blueprints.
  • Team & Project Management: Mentor, guide, and manage junior architects and draftsmen to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality design outputs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs conform strictly to RAJUK, BNBC, NHA, PWD, and Municipal building codes to guarantee seamless approval processes.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Structural Engineers, Supply Chain, and Project In-charges to successfully integrate structural and finishing elements into the final execution plans.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Audit: Conduct strategic site visits to audit the implementation of high-priority architectural details and resolve complex on-site issues.
  • Stakeholder Presentations: Deliver high-end 3D designs, animations, and blueprints to top management and high-profile clients.
