Position Details

Position Title: Senior Assistant Director (The Server & Network Administrator) reporting to the Additional Director of Digital & Technology Department.

Employment Type: Permanent Position.

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Assistant Director (The Server & Network Administrator) will be responsible for:
• Administer Windows Server, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat Linux, and other Linux platforms.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot server operating systems and services.
• Manage VMware environments including VM provisioning, DRS, HA, clustering, storage, and performance tuning.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and network security appliances.
• Implement network segmentation, routing, switching, and security policies.
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365 A5) including security and compliance features.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, Entra ID (Azure AD), and security policies.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
• Administer email security gateways such as Mimecast, including anti-spam, anti-malware, phishing protection, etc.
• Configure and manage centralized backup solutions, retention policies, disaster recovery, etc.
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools including Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios, and Grafana.
• Implement IT policies, standards, audit controls, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Forecast ICT infrastructure requirements, budgets, and technology roadmaps.
