Responsibilities & Context
SSP Consultancy Ltd. is a trusted name in overseas education consultancy, assisting students in securing admissions to reputed universities across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and proactive Senior Counsellor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in student counselling, excellent communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students and guardians regarding study options abroad based on their academic background, preferences, and eligibility.
- Guide students throughout the application process, including university/course selection, document preparation, and application submission.
- Assist students in preparing for visa interviews and submitting visa applications accurately and on time.
- Maintain a strong professional relationship with partner universities, embassies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins; manage the CRM system efficiently.
- Supervise and mentor junior counsellors or interns when required.
- Ensure compliance with ethical counselling standards and the company’s operational guidelines.
