Required skills
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services
- Proficiency with DBT for building and maintaining data transformations.
- Strong experience with BigQuery for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating data workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Context
- Design, implement, and maintain data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Develop and manage data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool) to ensure high-quality and reliable data pipelines.
- Utilize BigQuery to perform complex queries, generate insights, and support data-driven decisions.
- Create and manage end-to-end data pipelines with Apache Airflow to ensure efficient and reliable data workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, design data models, and ensure data integrity.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, transformations, and data models.
