Responsibilities & Context

The LPG Operators Association of Bangladesh (LOAB) is seeking applications for the position of Senior Executive, intended for candidates with an engineering background. This role provides critical support to the General Secretary and focuses on technical, policy, and stakeholder engagement efforts for the LPG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Technical & Administrative Coordination
• Support daily operations, compliance documentation, and technical workflows
• Maintain official records and ensure alignment with safety and engineering standards
• 2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, member companies’ engineering teams, and government bodies
• Draft technical reports, policy papers, and formal correspondence
• 3. Policy, Safety & Regulatory Advocacy
• Assist in advocacy related to technical safety regulations and operational standards
• Monitor policy changes and regulatory developments impacting the LPG sector
• 4. Event & Training Management
• Organize technical seminars, safety training programs, and industry workshops
• Represent LOAB in engineering or safety committees
• 5. Incident & Dispute Support
• Help investigate technical issues, safety incidents, and operational disputes
• Support the leadership and legal teams in crisis management efforts
• 6. International Communication & Market Analysis
• Communicate with international organizations such as the World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA)
• Track and analyze local, regional & global LPG market trends, pricing, and best practices to support LOAB’s strategic initiatives
• 7 IT & Technical Reporting
• Use tools like Excel, Data Analysis & reporting tools.
• Maintain digital documentation and ensure cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) is an advantage
