Responsibilities & Context

Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing (Yarn & Fibre Industry)

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Manager / Director

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for a wide range of yarn and fibre products used in various industries, including textiles, apparel, and technical fabrics. These products include but are not limited to Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, Acrylic, Spandex, Cotton Yarn, and various speciality fibres. The role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the yarn and fibre industry.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and customer needs in the textile and related sectors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the value of the company’s yarn and fibre products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the textile, apparel, and technical fabric industries.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs, provide technical support, and recommend appropriate yarn and fibre solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, LC, TT, Shipping and close sales deals with clients.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the yarn and fibre sectors to identify business opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market research and analysis.

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, Acrylic, Spandex, Cotton Yarn, and other related fibres.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and clients to enhance their understanding of yarn and fibre products.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the management team.
  • Track sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of products and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans.
