- Age at least 27 years
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in R.M.G compliance and HR in a mid senior level position (Manager in factory, Senior officer in Trading house or 3rd party audit firm or Auditor in any retailer/liaison office of any brands).
- SA8000 certification, RSC/Accord/Alliance, BSCI/SMETA/ SCOPE Certificate training will be an added advantage
- Post Graduate Diploma in HRM will be added advantage
- Good writing, speaking and communication skill on both English and Bangla.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g. MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Outlook)
Responsibilities & Context
- Audit factories (new factory, current factory, follow up audit) and writing audit report
- Identify gaps with labor law and buyer’s requirement
- Develop factories according to Centro guidelines on how to overcome noncompliance to fulfill buyer requirements
- Knowledgeable about RSC work, progress and remediation. Guide the factories to be on track and in control of progress.
- Make the Primark, KAS, TWG, The Just Group, Next, Morrisons and other factories development plan based on Risk factor. Ensure remediation work accordingly to development plan.
- Follow all office decorum and company policy
- Factory compliance audit and review process as per below activities:
- Internal Initial Audit:
- Opening meeting with factory management (explain about purpose of visit with procedure).
- B) Management review
- Check production capacity planning
- Review previous audit report and existing valid audit certificates (if available)
- C) Documentation review:
- Verify all legal documents validity and completeness
- Check Personal files on sample basis, salary sheets with other compensation related documents
- Give guideline to the factory representative instantly to get better result.
- Share best examples with factories and help them to implement
- Support factories for CAP development based on Centro/customer/3rd party report.
- Support factories to make them independent (Ownership).
- D) Plant visual inspection
- To check Health & Social facility including occupational Health & Safety
- Check environmental Health & Safety
- Check visual building integrity and visual Fire Safety and Electrical safety with Accord/Alliance standards
- Closing meeting with factory management on factory Audit/ Visit Result & Preparing Report.
- E) Technical audit and 3rd party audit preparation
- E.1.Internal Technical audit:
- Opening meeting
- Fill up Factory Profile with required information
- Check production capability
- Check Equipment list
- Check factory quality management systems
- Check Health and Safety
- Check specific requirements and the critical issues of Buyer
- Closing meeting
- Prepare report
- E.2.Follow-up Audit:
- Check update and development on previous audit report
- Check new findings
- Prepare report
- E.3. 3rd Party Audit Preparation:
- Help factories fulfill buyer requirements in all aspects
- Check every issues and help out factories to resolve those as per 3rd party audit checklist
- Help factories in preparing/supplying necessary documents, policy and procedures etc.
