Requirements

Education

  • BSc in Mathematics/Statistics/ Industrial and Production Engineering from any reputed university.
  • Having PGD in HRM will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • At least 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Telecommunication, Garments, Textile, Buying House, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Group of Companies, Packaging Industry, Garments Accessories, Tiles/Ceramic, Spinning

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with HR analytics tools and software is highly desirable.
  • Professional expertise in MS Excel and Power BI will be preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems, workforce planning tools, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Analyze current workforce capabilities to ensure that the right number of employees with the right skills are available when needed.
  • Track and analyze employee performance metrics to identify areas where productivity can be improved.
  • Implement strategies to streamline the operations, such as automating repetitive tasks or improving scheduling practices.
  • Act as a liaison between HR and other departments to ensure seamless integration of resource planning with business operations.
  • Prepare reports on workforce utilization, productivity, and resource optimization efforts for senior management.
  • Analyze and optimize the man-machine ratio to ensure efficient use of both human resources and machinery.
  • Work with operational departments to assess machine utilization and determine the appropriate staffing levels required to maximize productivity.
  • Implement strategies to balance the man-machine ratio, reducing idle time and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Perform workload analysis to assess the distribution of tasks among employees, identifying any imbalances or areas of overload.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to redistribute tasks and responsibilities to optimize workload and prevent employee burnout.
  • Develop workload management tools and processes to monitor and adjust workload distribution continuously.
  • Use data analytics to track and evaluate workforce productivity, resource utilization, and efficiency.
  • Monitor HR budgets related to resource allocation and optimization efforts.
  • Ensure that resource allocation complies with labor laws and regulations.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current resource allocation processes and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for resource optimization within HR.
