Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Automobile

Responsibilities & Context

Responsible for purchase including machineries, spare parts & other relevant technical service from both local & foreign suppliers/service providers.
Responsible for timely delivery for all engineering, consumable items to factories.
Develop competitive source for consumables project materials.
Provide quick support for smooth availability of engineering consumables (Importing & Local items).
Preparing comparative statement for approval & issuing purchase order for required items.
Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or service with users and vendors to determine causes of problems with take effective and preventive action.
Ensure appropriate quotations from potential vendors, review, negotiation, prepare comparative statements to make the purchase cost effective.
Maintain liaison with all concerned internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure LC opening, follow-up and on time delivery.
Central Database of existing and potential vendor of machinery.
