Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management or related field.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Wholesale, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Chemical Industries, Automobile, Paint, Toiletries

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in travel and event management.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to achieve company goals.
  • A customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement travel policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective travel arrangements for all employees.
  • Coordinate and manage all travel bookings including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, and any necessary visas or travel documents.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with travel vendors such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and travel agencies to ensure the best rates and service for the company.
  • Manage event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, audio/visual equipment, and event staffing.
  • Create event budgets and manage expenses to ensure events are delivered within budget.
  • Develop and maintain event calendars and timelines to ensure all events are delivered on time and meet the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure all travel and events are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Handle any unexpected issues or problems related to travel or events and implement appropriate solutions to resolve them.
  • compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to travel and events.
