Requirements

Education

• B.Sc in Textile Engineering will be given preference.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Textile, Buying House

Additional Requirements

• Age 28 to 35 years

• Experienced in working within fabric merchandising department of reputed garments trading house will be given preferences.
• Experienced in working with woven & knit fabric sourcing.
• Knowledge on Fabric processing & dying.
• Knowledge on payment terms/ LC.
• Strong communication skills in written & spoken English & Bengali.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a goal driven environment.

Responsibilities & Context

• Source fabric according to buyer requirements.
• Coordinate with Buyer & fabric mills to obtain lab dip approval, bulk fabric approval, wash approval and shade band approval.
• Confirm quality test parameters at fabric quality approval stage with buyer.
• Trouble shooting in development, pre bulk & post bulk fabric issues.
• Establish T&A for all new orders as per required garments delivery date.
• Follow up day to day fabric development & bulk production as per agreed T&A.
