Responsibilities & Context

Job Context :

KDS Textile Mills Ltd produces all types of Knit Fabrics. We are looking for young, energetic and dynamic young officer who will be able to develop and lead functional store department effectively and efficiently. Leadership Skill, Organization Skill and Problem-Solving skill along with Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, in depth knowledge in respective field which are extremely useful to succeed in this task.

Job Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate inventory & records using ERP or inventory management software
• Should be able to identify various knitted fabric like Pique, Jersey fleece etc. (greige and Finish)
• Organize and store fabrics in a systematic and accessible manner; like racking & using palates.
• Maintain separation of warehousing for job wise, order wise, color wise, type wise, organic, non-organic.
•  Monitor fabric consumption and stock levels and update reports.
•  Issue materials based on production requirements and implementation of LIFO-FIFO method.
•  Prepare and maintain documentation such as goods receipt notes, stock registers, and issue slips.
•  Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of different types of fabrics.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the fabric store area.
• Follow safety and handling guidelines for different types of fabrics.
• Collaborate with quality control to address any issues related to defective or damaged materials.
• Should have good knowledge of computers, operating ERP systems and standard software like Word/Excel, Emails
