Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field from a reputed university/institute.

Experience

- At least 5 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store, Garments, Boutique/ Fashion

Additional Requirements

Strong sense of color, fabric, and trend forecasting.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Moments, a contemporary lifestyle clothing brand from Bangladesh, offers stylish collections for men, women, boys, and girls. From elegant dresses and gowns to classic panjabis and shirts, Moments blends comfort, quality, and fashion.

We are looking for creative and trend-driven Senior Fashion Designers to lead our design team and develop innovative, market-ready collections that reflect our brand identity and style.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the complete design process for seasonal collections — from concept ideation and theme development to sampling and final product execution.
Research global fashion trends and develop cohesive design themes, mood boards, and color stories for upcoming seasons.
Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications, ensuring alignment with brand identity and seasonal direction.
Fully understand the brand’s aesthetic, values, and target audience to design collections that reflect the Moments DNA.
Design diverse garments — including tops, bottoms, dresses, panjabis, and kidswear — ensuring style, comfort, and wearability.
Collaborate with marketing, and production teams to translate creative concepts into commercially successful products.
Participate in product development meetings to discuss design ideas, fabric choices, costing, and production timelines.
Work closely with suppliers, fabric mills, and manufacturers to source fabrics, trims, and embellishments for new product development.
Ensure design feasibility and quality during sample making and production stages through continuous coordination and follow-up.
Conduct design and quality evaluations, ensuring final products meet brand standards and technical accuracy.
Prepare technical packs, artwork, and specification sheets with precise measurements and construction details.
Contribute creative input in campaign shoots, visual merchandising, and brand styling to maintain visual consistency.
Stay up to date on international fashion movements, materials, and sustainability practices to inspire innovation.
Perform any other design-related responsibilities assigned by management.
