Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience
- At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience in Embedded Linux development, and over 8 years of experience in FreeRTOS and bare-metal firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix shell scripting (e.g., bash).
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration.
- Experience with microcontrollers and various peripherals (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, USB).
- Experience with different network protocols for example MQTT, FTP, SAMBA etc.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
- Understanding of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Context
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Implement and optimize firmware for performance and reliability.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
