Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar graphic design and video editing software.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
Ability to produce both print and digital designs, with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing for digital and social media platforms.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience leading design teams and managing junior designers is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with various departments.
Familiarity with the retail, food & beverage and FMCG sectors in Bangladesh is an advantage.
Understanding of current design trends, particularly in retail and corporate branding.
A portfolio showcasing previous design work, particularly in retail marketing or corporate design, is required.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: This position is responsible for leading design efforts across various projects, from digital to print, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual brand identity for our group of companies. Also collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and business teams to create engaging designs that align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies, supporting both outlet operations and corporate functions. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to develop marketing materials, digital content, and in-store promotional visuals that resonate with the target audience and enhance the company’s brand presence.

Job Responsibilities:

Design Creation: Lead the creation of innovative designs for print, digital, and social media platforms, including brochures, banners, websites, newsletters, advertisements, and packaging.
Branding: Ensure consistency of the brand’s visual identity across all media, making sure all designs align with the company’s branding guidelines.
Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality is maintained.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales team and other departments to understand project requirements and create design solutions that meet business objectives.
Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies, incorporating modern techniques to keep designs fresh and engaging.
Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers or interns, ensuring their growth and the quality of work produced by the team.
Feedback Incorporation: Actively seek feedback from different team members, making necessary revisions to designs to meet expectations.
Software Proficiency: Expertly use design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and familiarity with UI/UX tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus.
Print & Digital Media: Design for both print and digital platforms, understanding the technical specifications of each medium.
Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with printing vendors and other external stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of printed materials.
Others: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Line Authority or the Honorable Management Authority.
