RTI’s Global Health Division (GHD) within the International Development Group, works in Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases; Global Health Security and Public Preparedness; Heath Systems Strengthening – including Health Governance, Health Finance, Human Resources for Health, Capacity Building, and Health Policy and Advocacy; and Integrated Care – including Reproductive, Maternal, and Child Health and Family Planning. We address a range of public health problems to reduce disparities, lower disease burdens, and build locally owned sustainable health programs in lower- and middle-income countries.
Responsibilities
RTI is seeking a Senior Implementation Manager in Bangladesh. This position will engage with project stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure project technical activities and monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts are streamlined at the regional and district levels. This position reports to the Implementation Director.
Position Type: Regular Full-Time
Position is contingent upon award and funding.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and coordinating activity implementation with the direction of the Implementation Director.
- Maintains relationships with key sector partners, donors, consultants, host country counterparts and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with colleagues across RTI and SLLHS activity on technical, administrative, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Align project efforts with USAID’s objectives and guidelines, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of interventions aimed at improving local health systems
- Coordinate with project teams at regional and district levels to ensure alignment of activities and efficient use of resources.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of work plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Proactively identify risks and challenges to project implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them
- May serve as a representative of the project to clients, stakeholders, and partners, providing key inputs for technical or management decisions.
