Position Overview

The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr. IE) in optimizing manufacturing processes, developing production systems, and ensuring ergonomic efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Process Design & Optimization

• Lead the design and optimization of production lines, ensuring ergonomic efficiency, flow balance, and minimal waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies, establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), and optimize workstation layouts using simulation tools.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques across assembly and fabrication areas.
• Drive the deployment of automation solutions.
• Calculated the total capacity of the factory by the efficiency of the line & the total throughput time of any style.

Advanced Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) for chronic process issues.
• Champion continuous improvement through Six Sigma DMAIC projects and cross-functional workshops.
• Calculated the SAM of a new style through operation breakdown & fixed the CM by calculating Cost per Minute of the factory.
• Prepared Master Production Schedule.
• Prepared the monthly Earnings of the Factory by actual materials consumption.
• Monitored daily production to make the plan feasible & updated production planning time to time according to the current situation.
• Improving the efficiency of the sewing and finishing section and also increasing the utilization rate of the allocating manpower and reduce the manpower also.
• Establish and maintain work standards using time studies across all operational processes.
• Reduce spreading wastage & increase marker efficiency from cutting section
