Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee global sourcing and procurement of trims & accessories.
- Lead vendor management activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business goals and buyer expectations.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation and sourcing alternatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials by maintaining strong supplier coordination and accurate forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with international quality and audit standards (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, etc.).
- Provide regular status updates to merchandising and senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication between local and global sourcing teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production, and quality teams for sample development and bulk order execution.
- Lead and develop the sourcing team, setting KPIs and ensuring a high-performance culture.
