  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the development sector or any relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in risk management.

Responsibilities & Context

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Manager, Risk Management, will identify, analyse, and monitor risks across all support departments and programmes of BRAC. This role involves ensuring the effectiveness of the risk management process and overseeing its functions. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will supervise multiple functional departments at BRAC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement risk management frameworks, including risk identification, assessment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with all departments to understand cross-functional risks and their impact on strategic and operational levels.
  • Develop and propose risk management training and capacity-building modules.
  • Communicate risk strategies and policies through meetings and seminars for stakeholders.
  • Challenge, advise and consult on risk matters while maintaining strong relationships with senior management.
  • Prepare and present risk management reports to the head of risk management and key stakeholders.
  • Develop various risk models using international standards and methodologies.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
