Responsibilities & Context

Adventure Dhaka Limited, a subsidiary of Adventure Inc. (one of the leading publicly listed OTAs in Japan), is seeking a senior manager with over five years of experience in the travel agent industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing software development department and possess proficient skills and knowledge in Java, PHP, QA, ReactJS, or Cloud technologies.

Oversee project, schedule, and task management to ensure timely delivery.
Manage, evaluate, educate, and instruct team members effectively.
Assume full responsibility for the progress and success of projects.
Develop back-end programming and logic using Java, PHP, ReactJS, or Cloud technologies.
Provide guidance on project structure and suggest best practices and approaches.
Conduct thorough code reviews and share technical expertise with the development team.
Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and resolve issues in existing projects.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with Indian and Japanese team members.
Clearly grasp project requirements and ensure comprehensive understanding among team members.
Demonstrate advanced skills in agile and scrum methodologies to enhance team productivity.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with parent company -Adventure Inc.
Engage in team circles for both internal and external project collaboration.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology trends and market demands in Japan.
Utilize market insights to inform project strategies and decisions.
